Mercedes-Benz wheels are cast. Casting is a process in which metal is smelted into a liquid that meets certain requirements and poured into a mold. After cooling, solidification, and cleaning, a casting with a predetermined shape, size and performance is obtained. Forging is a processing method that uses a forging machine to apply pressure to a metal blank to plastically deform it to obtain a forging with certain mechanical properties, certain shape and size.

Forging and casting distinction method:
1. Percussion echo: The hub made of good aluminum material is denser, so the percussion echo is more crisp. If the wheels are made of liquid aluminum forging technology, the sound is the clearest, and the echo can sometimes last for a few seconds. If you find that the echo is dull or almost no echo after tapping, it is better to give up.

2. Observing the surface: Good wheels rarely have sand holes except for the excellent surface spraying technology. And when buying, you need to observe each wheel carefully to ensure that each wheel is not deformed or worn due to packing or transportation.

3. The machine inspection is overweight: visually check whether the rim is round enough when it rotates, and if it is not round enough, give up immediately. If it is round, it also depends on the weight of the wheel hub. According to the requirements of the original car, it is basically qualified if it is less than 30g.
